Red Team Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the main Security partner for software and engineering teams.

• Assess the security posture throughout the organization.

• Plan and implement red team operations, adversary simulations, and specialized security evaluations focused on cloud environments.

• Analyze cloud infrastructure, identity architectures, CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and cloud-native services.

• Identify and verify attack vectors involving IAM misconfigurations, excessively privileged roles, secrets exposure, metadata exploitation, insecure automation, and weaknesses in cloud service configurations.

• Evaluate detection and response capabilities by testing logging, alerting, monitoring, and incident response processes in collaboration with blue team and detection engineering functions.

• Monitor emerging attacker tactics, trends in cloud exploitation, and new abuse pathways pertinent to contemporary enterprise environments.

• Lead remediation initiatives for identified vulnerabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in offensive security, red teaming, penetration testing, and validation of detection mechanisms.

• Understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.

• Capability to align findings with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

• Proficient in writing clear, actionable reports.

• Skillful in articulating complex technical issues to a variety of stakeholders.

• Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, GXPN, GPEN, or cloud security certifications.

• Must have authorization to access commodities and technologies governed by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
