This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage the entire recruitment and onboarding process for available positions.
• Attract candidates through job boards, databases, social media, and various other channels.
• Identify candidates for challenging roles using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Evaluate resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, and suitability.
• Establish rapport with hiring managers and offer guidance and timely updates throughout the recruitment journey.
• Ensure a positive experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with remote HR teams to exchange best practices and pinpoint recruitment efficiencies.
• Utilize social media to enhance the company’s brand and cultivate talent pools.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new hires and assist with their integration into the organization.
• Provide analytical and well-documented recruitment reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Organize and participate in recruitment events, such as job fairs and trade shows.
• Manage, update, and maintain the UKG applicant tracking system.
• Contribute to the formulation of the recruitment strategy to ensure alignment with the broader talent management strategy.
• Report directly to the Manager of Recruiting Operations.
• 3 to 5 years of comprehensive recruitment experience.
• At least 2 years of experience within the mining or resource-based sectors.
• Familiarity with sourcing strategies and techniques.
• Ability to effectively manage a high-volume recruitment workload independently.
• Demonstrated success in building strong partnerships with hiring managers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multitask efficiently.
• Strong resourcefulness, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
• Capability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and well-developed interpersonal skills.
