This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the recruitment team, establishing clear expectations and fostering individual growth.
• Manage the entire recruitment cycle across various roles: from intake and screening to profiling and ensuring a seamless handoff to client placement advisors.
• Participate in live interviews, review screening decisions, and ensure correct execution directly, maintaining close engagement to recognize high-quality outcomes.
• Take responsibility for the recruiting team's close rate and assessment pass-rate integrity as personal metrics — not only tracking them but also being accountable for their fluctuations, intervening before a slow quarter develops into a trend.
• Assess the tradeoff between speed and quality directly — when pipeline volume increases but placements do not follow, investigate whether it is a screening issue, a client-fit issue, or a handoff issue, and rectify the appropriate one.
• Personally bridge the gap between those who interview candidates and those who determine their suitability for a client — screening and profiling should not be regarded as separate, disconnected steps; the recruiter closest to the candidate owns the call, with you monitoring the reasoning behind it.
• Collaborate with client placement advisors and leadership to anticipate staffing needs, prioritize open positions, and develop capacity plans.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce the recruiting team's KPIs and metrics, utilizing them to ensure the team remains aligned, efficient, and focused without compromising quality.
• Maintain team alignment, speed, and consistency: conduct regular reviews, eliminate bottlenecks, and balance speed against quality standards to ensure neither suffers.
• Conduct regular calibration sessions to uphold consistent screening standards across the team and address underperformance within a defined timeline rather than allowing it to drift.
• Develop and enhance screening frameworks and staffing workflows tailored to cross-border legal placements.
• Continuously improve recruitment processes, advocating for superior tools, calibration practices, and profiling rigor as the team expands.
• Advocate for an outstanding candidate experience and a strong, consistent employer brand at every interaction.
• Report team performance, screening quality, and pipeline health to the CEO, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Over 3 years of experience managing recruitment teams in a remote environment, with a proven ability to lead and develop recruiters.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting across LATAM, the Philippines, and/or South Africa for placements: this is essential.
• Practical experience managing recruiters through an ATS, with a focus on auditing and enhancing screening processes and associated rubrics.
• Strong understanding of quality-driven recruiting metrics: pass-rate integrity, screening consistency, and time-to-fill, and how to leverage them to maintain depth without allowing the pipeline to stagnate.
• Proven capability to uphold a high evaluative standard within the team under pipeline pressure, addressing issues before they escalate into client problems.
• Has successfully reversed a declining conversion or quality metric in a recruiting function — not merely maintained one that was already performing well.
• Experienced in environments where screening and final placement decisions were made by different individuals or teams, with direct experience in resolving that issue.
• Familiarity with building or refining screening frameworks, interview rigor, and profiling workflows, ideally in a cross-border or highly regulated staffing context.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to conduct direct, challenging accountability conversations within a distributed, global team.
• You tend to take action on incomplete information rather than waiting for certainty — and you can provide instances where this instinct was beneficial, as well as where it fell short.
• A data-driven, organized, and proactive approach to leading and prioritizing tasks.
• Fully remote position with a flexible work schedule
• Competitive base salary
• Annual performance bonus
• Anniversary loyalty bonuses
• Company-sponsored health insurance
• Generous PTO that increases with tenure (up to 30 days per year)
• Birthday PTO day
• 7 U.S. paid holidays

• Home office stipend for equipment and workspace upgrades
• Computer replacement stipend
• Monthly internet allowance (increases with tenure)
• Professional development and training programs
• Education support for high performers
