This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Lead strategy-focused requirement kickoffs — before sourcing begins, determine the primary challenge: a supply/demand issue or a hard-to-find candidate? Tailor the approach accordingly.
• Enhance recruiters' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities — develop their judgment rather than merely their output.
• Ensure quality and consistency across all open requirements — not by managing every search, but by having a clear understanding of the status of each one.
• Establish the standard for what constitutes a strong candidate slate before it is presented to a client.
• Serve as the primary resource when a recruiter encounters difficulties with a challenging requirement — someone with enough experience to identify the right course of action swiftly.
• Anticipate bottlenecks before they hinder the team's progress and devise proactive solutions.
• Connect the gap between available market talent and client expectations — challenge unrealistic briefs when necessary.
• Encourage a proactive team environment: build candidate pipelines in advance of demand, alert when a role is being sourced incorrectly, and highlight easily accessible candidates that the team may overlook.
• Promote discipline within the candidate database — transform LinkedIn outreach and connections into a viable pipeline rather than just a history of individual inbox interactions.
• Facilitate team rhythms: conduct 1:1s, pipeline reviews, requirement kickoffs, and capacity check-ins.
• Set the standard for how recruiting communicates across departments, particularly with Account Management.
• Identify gaps in Hireframe's recruiting operations and establish new best practices.
• Explore new sourcing channels; consider applicant marketing — focus on how we attract candidates, not just on how we evaluate them.
• Be ready to engage hands-on when necessary: interview candidates, review recordings, and create assessments.
• Demonstrated experience in managing or mentoring recruiters directly — with performance linked to the success of hires, rather than merely placements made.
• Significant experience in headhunting and evaluative recruiting — not limited to top-of-funnel sourcing; you've managed the entire funnel and made hiring recommendations, rather than just compiling candidate lists.
• Diverse recruiting experience across various role types (operations, administration, finance, marketing, customer support, technical support, executive assistance, etc.) — not confined to a single function.
• Extensive knowledge of international candidate markets: talent pools, salary and rate benchmarks, and what constitutes strong candidates at entry, mid, and senior levels — no online searching required.
• Experience in recruiting for remote or distributed teams, successfully placing candidates with US-based clients.
