Recruiter, Hourly Field – Central/Eastern Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners to gain insights into business priorities, recruitment challenges, and job requirements.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to create and implement flexible recruitment plans.

• Identify, pre-qualify, and secure job offers for ideal candidates.

• Source, evaluate, qualify, and interview potential candidates while providing hiring recommendations.

• Monitor recruitment outcomes and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

• Advocate for US Foods as the employer of choice by sharing up-to-date information with candidates.

• Implement targeted recruitment initiatives to enhance diversity representation, including referral programs and on-site hiring events.

• Oversee candidate slates, maintain communications, coordinate interviews, arrange travel itineraries, and conduct follow-ups.

• Manage the offer process while tracking acceptances and declines.

• Stay updated on recruiting trends and innovative strategies to achieve hiring objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in full-lifecycle recruiting for professional roles at all levels, encompassing sourcing, assessing, qualifying, and interviewing candidates within a corporate recruitment setting.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing and identifying top talent through LinkedIn, social media platforms, internet resources, job boards, and niche websites.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Strong capability in cold calling and sourcing talent utilizing Boolean search methods.

• Experience with a web-based applicant tracking system, such as Taleo or Workday, is preferred.

• Must reside within the designated Central or Eastern Region or a neighboring state.

• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as required.
