This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process for designated roles, from the initiation of requisitions to the onboarding of candidates.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend business requirements, define job specifications, and create effective recruitment strategies.
• Craft engaging job advertisements and promote opportunities through relevant recruitment channels.
• Source, identify, and connect with qualified active and passive candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and various sourcing techniques.
• Evaluate resumes and applications to pinpoint qualified candidates.
• Conduct structured screening interviews to assess technical qualifications, experience, communication abilities, and overall compatibility.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with detailed recommendations and interview summaries.
• Organize interview logistics and ensure a smooth interview process from scheduling to final decision-making.
• Facilitate prompt interview feedback and foster efficient hiring decisions.
• Cultivate robust relationships with hiring managers, acting as a trusted recruiting advisor.
• Conduct intake sessions to set hiring priorities, candidate profiles, timelines, and recruitment strategies.
• Provide insights on market conditions, talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.
• Advise hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle, offering recommendations to enhance hiring outcomes.
• Maintain consistent communication regarding pipeline activity, recruitment progress, and hiring challenges.
• Act as the main point of contact for candidates during the hiring process.
• Ensure timely communication about interview schedules, hiring timelines, and subsequent steps.
• Deliver a professional, responsive, and engaging candidate experience that embodies Magna's values and employer brand.
• Prepare and present verbal offers to selected candidates, negotiate within established compensation guidelines, and address candidate inquiries.
• Draft offer letters and manage the offer approval process.
• Keep accurate and current candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Lever).
• Ensure all candidate interactions, interview feedback, and hiring documentation are appropriately logged.
• Coordinate pre-employment tasks and ensure timely completion of hiring milestones.
• Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance rate, source effectiveness, and hiring activity.
• Generate recruiting reports, dashboards, and pipeline updates for Talent Acquisition leadership and business partners.
• Ensure that recruitment activities adhere to company policies and relevant employment laws.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and recurring positions.
• Build and nurture talent pipelines for future hiring requirements.
• Identify and foster relationships with passive candidates.
• Utilize professional associations, referrals, networking events, career fairs, university partnerships, and other sourcing avenues to enhance Magna's talent pipeline.
• Continuously assess new sourcing methods and recruitment technologies to enhance hiring outcomes.
• Represent Magna Legal Services professionally throughout the recruitment journey.
• Advocate Magna's employment brand across recruitment platforms and networking opportunities.
• Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and other talent attraction initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to refine recruitment processes, workflows, and the overall experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Assist with Talent Acquisition initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience.
• 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate in-house or agency recruiting environment.
• Proven success in managing multiple concurrent searches in a dynamic environment.
• Experience sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruitment platforms.
• Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Lever.
• Strong skills in interviewing and candidate evaluation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and Zoom.
• Experience in recruiting for corporate, technical, operational, or professional services positions.
• Experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt hiring.
• Understanding of employment laws and recruitment best practices.
• Ability to interpret recruitment metrics to enhance hiring outcomes.
