This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Take ownership of the entire hiring process — source, screen, interview, and finalize candidates for both technical (engineering, product) and non-technical (sales, operations) positions.
• Develop and oversee the hiring pipeline — establish SLAs for each phase, monitor time-to-hire, assess sourcing effectiveness, and track conversion rates; provide insights and suggest modifications when needed.
• Proactively source candidates — utilize LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and specialized channels; do not wait for inbound applications — actively seek out potential candidates.
• Enhance the recruitment process — refine interview frameworks, scoring rubrics, ATS configurations, and offer templates; document successful strategies and eliminate ineffective ones.
• Ensure a uniform candidate experience — every applicant, regardless of the outcome, should receive clear and professional feedback from Farel.
• Over 5 years of experience in recruiting, with a minimum of 2 years in a high-volume environment — such as a startup, scale-up, or a busy in-house recruitment team.
• Demonstrated success in closing both technical and commercial/operational positions, preferably within the same organization.
• Naturally data-driven — you monitor funnel metrics, identify bottlenecks, and understand how to adjust processes to enhance speed and quality.
• Direct experience collaborating with C-level executives (CEO, COO).
• Self-motivated and focused — capable of prioritizing 5 or more open roles simultaneously and meeting deadlines without daily oversight.
• Proficient in English — for conducting interviews, written communication, and asynchronous collaboration with a global team.
• Success-based fee structure — compensation is aligned with the number of closed hires.
