This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Co-facilitate virtual multidisciplinary groups, including shared medical appointments and support groups focused on substance use disorder (SUD) topics, both with and without a standardized curriculum.
• Employ Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques in both group and individual settings.
• Deliver evidence-based SUD services by facilitating psychoeducational, skills development, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal process, and support-oriented groups.
• Prepare all necessary documentation in accordance with relevant organizational and state standards clearly, thoroughly, and in a timely fashion.
• Conduct evaluations for individuals seeking to enroll in various programs.
• Diagnose and treat adult and adolescent populations.
• Possess the clinical ability to differentiate and operate as either a clinician or coach based on situational needs.
• Meet daily performance targets set by behavioral health leadership.
• Exhibit adaptability and flexibility while maintaining clinical effectiveness.
• Uphold the Harm Reduction philosophy in all aspects of clinical practice.
• Engage in meetings, supervision, and clinical audits.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate evening and potential weekend groups.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part II regulations.
• Collaborate with the Grants and Research team to assist with new grant evaluations, re-evaluations, and other grant-related requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Master’s degree (Required).
• Independent clinical Texas state licensure required (LCSW or LMFT Required).
• Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills; training in Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) is a plus.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience providing SUD services in either an inpatient or outpatient setting.
• Skilled in managing crisis interventions remotely.
• Passionate about facilitating groups utilizing therapeutic interventions.
• Ability and willingness to work independently online; should be familiar with Google Drive, spreadsheets, documentation, video conferencing, and secure email.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability.
• A strong enthusiasm for transforming the approach to addiction treatment is essential.
