Reality Capture, Visualization and Immersive Technology Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in BIM, reality capture, visualization, and digital delivery projects related to water, wastewater, and infrastructure.

• Facilitate technology-driven workflows for project planning, design, construction, and asset management.

• Revise and test basic Revit templates to meet company standards.

• Evaluate basic add-in features to ensure optimal functionality.

• Employ visualization tools and mixed reality applications to aid in project development.

• Implement simple data models that conform to project requirements and specifications.

• Revise AutoCAD blocks and profiles as necessary.

• Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D to verify project integrity.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation and workflows.

• Contribute to reality capture, visualization, and BIM initiatives, including laser scanning, photogrammetry, point cloud processing, and digital design review workflows.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as the project's and business's needs change.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in drafting & design, architectural technologies, civil technologies, construction management technologies, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 0–2 years of professional or relevant experience.

• Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

• Capability to update Revit templates and AutoCAD blocks and profiles.

• Proficiency in utilizing basic visualization tools and mixed reality applications.

• Ability to apply data models to fulfill project requirements and specifications.

• Understanding of foundational building systems, design principles, and construction workflows.

• Competence in basic BIM tasks and technical skills.
