This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee Immediate Payments systems, including monitoring queues, alerts, dashboards, and transaction activities.

• Conduct regular system checks, review transaction statuses, monitor exceptions, validate network operations, and ensure operational readiness.

• Investigate and address operational exceptions, payment delays or failures, and system alerts.

• Escalate concerns to technology, operations, product, risk management, compliance, vendors, and networks as necessary.

• Assist in production validation during maintenance periods, system releases, upgrades, and resilience events.

• Examine and resolve issues with rejected, pending, incomplete, or duplicate payment transactions.

• Carry out reconciliation and balancing tasks, including reviewing the general ledger, validating offsets, and verifying settlements.

• Address operational queries via shared mailboxes, case management systems, and escalation channels.

• Keep comprehensive documentation of system activities, incidents, and resolutions for auditing and compliance purposes.

• Detect recurring problems and process deficiencies, proposing enhancements to reliability, customer experience, and risk management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Five to eight years of experience in payment operations, financial services, or a similar business area.

• Profound understanding of payment processing, reconciliation, exception management, and operational controls.

• Knowledge of Immediate Payments frameworks, including RTP and FedNow environments.

• Capability to work independently during weekends, holidays, and at non-standard hours.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in real-time payment operations and settlement processes.

• Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and auditing requirements within the financial services sector.

• Experience in documenting incidents, procedures, and operational controls.
