React Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain React applications that deliver reporting and analytics experiences hosted in Snowflake.

• Convert existing Tableau dashboards and new reporting needs into efficient, maintainable React components.

• Collaborate with data and analytics engineers to link front-end applications to Snowflake data sources and semantic models.

• Provide hands-on React training and mentorship to data/analytics engineers, BI developers, and analysts through pairing, workshops, and documentation.

• Create features utilizing AI-assisted workflows as a standard part of the engineering process, applied thoughtfully in line with platform standards.

• Report directly to the Director of Data Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end build tools.

• Familiarity with data visualization and charting libraries.

• Comfortable working with SQL and cloud data warehouses, with a preference for Snowflake.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining React concepts to engineers and analysts without a front-end background.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted workflows, including AI coding assistants and agentic development tools, in a professional environment.

• Patient and collaborative teaching style with a genuine passion for developing others.

• Over 3 years of professional experience in building applications using React.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
