This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leading a team of 18 focused on self-pay discovery, authorizations, and Medicaid follow-up.
• Ensuring that all team members achieve production and quality benchmarks.
• Overseeing the complete billing operations, including payer follow-up and authorization processes.
• Engaging in all leadership meetings related to Pediatric Billing as well as individual team discussions.
• Collaborating with leaders and teams throughout the wider RCS organization.
• Initiating process improvement projects to attain consistently high, benchmark-level results.
• Managing resources and performance while staying within budget constraints.
• Facilitating the onboarding and integration of new team members through system and leadership training.
• A strong understanding of business and reimbursement management is essential, with an undergraduate degree preferred.
• A minimum of three years of experience in hospital or physician billing is highly preferred.
• Demonstrable knowledge of healthcare billing terminology, concepts, and processes is required.
• Ability to effectively plan and manage resource utilization is necessary.
• A high level of interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings are essential.
• Ability to organize and manage work to meet performance expectations is required.
• Capacity to promote teamwork and nurture team members is necessary.
• Ability to manage operations within budgetary limits is required.
• A strong commitment to continuous performance improvement is essential.
• Strong knowledge of business and reimbursement management.
• Undergraduate degree is preferred.
• At least three years of experience with hospital or physician billing is strongly preferred.
