This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Act as the main strategic partner for revenue cycle management (RCM) in designated markets and physician groups.
• Track and evaluate critical performance metrics such as charge lag, denial rates, accounts receivable aging, AR over 90 days, and net collection rates.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly revenue cycle assessments with market leadership and healthcare providers.
• Determine the underlying causes of revenue loss and aid in the creation of corrective action strategies.
• Promote the decrease of controllable denials through detailed payer analysis and collaborative operations.
• Collaborate across various departments with key revenue cycle stakeholders to proactively pinpoint and address issues that affect revenue integrity and reimbursement efficiency.
• Assist in onboarding new markets and integrating RCM ASAs.
• Bring systemic issues to the attention of executive leadership along with suggested solutions.
• Engage in cross-departmental revenue cycle projects and initiatives aimed at performance enhancement.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Experience with physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, or musculoskeletal service lines is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payer reimbursement models, including Medicare Advantage, Commercial, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Capability to manage multiple markets and competing priorities at once.
• A BA or BS degree is preferred.
• CPC, CPB, CRCR, or other relevant revenue cycle certifications are preferred.
• Option for remote work.
• Occasional travel to practice locations.
• Regular use of computers and participation in virtual meetings.
