RCM Associate – Payment Posting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Enter payments, adjustments, and denials from ERAs, EOBs, and lockbox files into customer PM systems and Amperos platforms.

• Reconcile daily batches and ensure they match with bank deposits.

• Address issues related to missing or mismatched ERAs.

• Identify underpayments and denials for further review.

• Resolve unapplied cash, credit balances, refunds, and recoupments effectively.

• Facilitate the transfer of balances as needed.

• Input charges and confirm the accuracy of claims.

• Manage the submission of charges to insurance providers.

• Monitor claims throughout the posting and adjudication processes.

• Assist customers in submitting claims accurately and efficiently.

• Support the Amperos automation systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Adjust responsibilities based on changing products, customer needs, and immediate business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or coding verification.

• In-depth knowledge of medical coding practices.

• Familiarity with leading PM systems, such as eCW, ModMed, Athenahealth, and others.

• Strong comprehension of insurance claim submission requirements and pre-authorization procedures.

• Capability to identify coding mistakes and clinical editing concerns prior to claim submission.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable in documentation and follow-through.

• Availability to work US hours (9am–6pm ET).

• Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment where processes and priorities may shift.
