This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The role of Independent Consultant involves executing AARST compliant radon assessments in multi-family residences, skilled nursing facilities, and various commercial properties.
• Perform radon measurements according to the latest AARST standards for multi-family and larger buildings.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of device serial numbers, testing times, and locations, which will be communicated to AEI’s radon team as well as maintained in a digital chain-of-custody.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when engaging with tenants, property management, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
• Must possess a solid command of both spoken and written English.
• Friendly and capable of communicating effectively with individuals at all levels.
• Must be a self-motivated individual, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
• California Independent Contractors must adhere to the guidelines set forth by AB5 Legislation.
• NRPP certification or NRSB certification is required.
• Possession of state licenses, where applicable, is an added advantage.
• Compensation for Independent Contract (1099) work is project-based and varies according to the type of service and project specifics.
