This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a vital contact within Hoag’s Centralized Patient Service Center.
• Assist patients with scheduling and coordination across various service lines.
• Provide a compassionate, efficient, and precise patient experience.
• Handle a high volume of inbound interactions within a remote contact center setting.
• Schedule, reschedule, confirm appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Accurately record all patient interactions and updates.
• Navigate through multiple systems while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate in a professional manner with patients, providers, and internal teams.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• At least six months of experience in a healthcare contact center, patient access, or customer service environment is preferred.
• Must possess hands-on experience in scheduling medical appointments within a healthcare setting.
• Required to have experience working from home in a private, secure, and distraction-free environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to exhibit empathy, professionalism, and outstanding telephone etiquette.
• Proven understanding of and consistent adherence to contact center performance metrics.
• Capability to manage multiple systems and tasks concurrently.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows-based systems and applications.
