Radiography Bridge Associate Degree Program Director – Online

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Program Leadership & Curriculum: Identify, set, and execute program objectives; create and sustain a comprehensive curriculum that integrates professional standards and feedback from the advisory board.

• Assess course materials, examine new texts, and aid in the formation of program outlines, syllabi, and booklists.

• Develop course materials to fulfill course goals; collaborate with the Faculty Coordinator to pinpoint educational workshops and training sessions for faculty.

• Ensure all records comply with accreditation standards; generate regular reports for accrediting entities and professional organizations as necessary.

• Formulate and uphold program policies that align with institutional and accreditation standards; guarantee compliance by faculty, staff, and students.

• Establish and maintain an advisory board; engage in community outreach to enhance program visibility.

• Review applicant transcripts to assess eligibility and credit transfer; conduct an introductory meeting with each applicant before the program commences.

• Provide guidance and support to students regarding schedule modifications, academic issues, and attendance matters.

• Analyze student success rates and develop the Program Effectiveness plan; ensure a minimum 70% success rate for all courses taught.

• Evaluate student performance in relation to course objectives and make necessary adjustments to address learning needs; gather, compile, and assess data for outcome evaluation.

• Maintain student grades according to established policies; finalize grades at the conclusion of each term to update student records and transcripts.

• Perform duties of an online instructor as required.

• Oversee online Radiography faculty in collaboration with the Online Faculty Coordinator and Online Education Director.

• Aid in the development of teaching schedules and evaluate faculty teaching methods.

• Supervise the RAD Bridge Clinical Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree is required.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA.

• Must be a graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Current ARRT credential in good standing is essential.

• At least 3 years of experience as a registered radiography technologist is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of documented instructional experience in a JRCERT-accredited program.

• At least 15 semester credit hours or equivalent in the relevant subject area.

• Must possess a current license, certification, or other credential as mandated by local, state, or federal regulations.

• Familiarity with curriculum development, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and academic advising is necessary.

• Experience in online education is preferred.

• Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, video-conferencing tools, and other computer and internet applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
