This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate regular assessments to determine if individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities are receiving tailored support and services.
• Conduct scheduled evaluations of IDD service providers' effectiveness in maintaining the health and safety of individuals.
• Assist management in identifying opportunities for enhancing service delivery and provide technical support.
• Perform thorough evaluations of programs and service providers to ensure effectiveness and adherence to established standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to developmental disabilities.
• Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives aimed at enhancing quality.
• Review provider documentation, reports, and records.
• Advocate for the rights and welfare of individuals with developmental disabilities through a respectful, person-centered approach.
• Analyze program outcomes, client satisfaction, and other pertinent metrics.
• Communicate effectively with service providers, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver technical assistance, training, and guidance on best practices, quality standards, and compliance.
• Take prompt action in situations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct respectful interviews with both individuals receiving services and provider staff.
• Accurately document review findings and prepare reports.
• Plan and manage own workload while collaborating with the manager to prioritize projects.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required; relevant education may substitute for experience.
• 5 to 7 years of work experience is required; 8 to 11 years is preferred.
• Must meet the qualifications to be recognized as a Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP).
• Must meet the qualifications to be recognized as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP).
• Ability to evaluate IDD programs and service providers against established criteria.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements related to developmental disabilities.
• Capability to analyze program outcomes, client satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.
• Proficient in conducting respectful interviews with service recipients and provider staff.
• Skilled in documenting review findings and generating reports.
• Ability to take necessary action in cases of abuse, neglect, or exploitation by adhering to established protocols.
