This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in the development of Estimate at Completion (EAC), forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting.
• Evaluate actual expenses, Estimate to Complete (ETC), staffing, materials, and other significant cost factors.
• Conduct Earned Value Management analysis, which includes Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and variances in cost and schedule.
• Create explanations for variances and propose corrective measures.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), and scheduling teams to oversee program performance.
• Ensure synchronization between cost, schedule, and technical execution.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of baselines, budget modifications, and other program control activities.
• Analyze financial and EVM data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Communicate potential impacts to program leadership.
• Guarantee that financial and program performance data is precise, timely, and adheres to established processes and contractual obligations.
• Facilitate program reviews, EAC reviews, and fulfill internal and customer financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and support timely and accurate external Integrated Program Management Data and Reporting (IPMDAR).
• Align cost, schedule, EVM, and program performance data with contractual and customer reporting needs.
• Support the financial and operational effectiveness of Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC INC 2) programs.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in forecasting, budgeting, and/or variance analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information and the financial management system under government contractual stipulations.
• Preferred experience in Earned Value Management and EAC development.
• Preferred experience in supporting complex government or defense programs and collaborating across multiple functions and organizations.
• Preferred experience in managing assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines is preferred.
• Preferred experience in using SAP, APEX, PRISM, and program management tools.
