Quality & Patient Safety Nurse – AI Clinical Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop challenging clinical quality and patient safety cases along with benchmark tasks.

• Analyze longitudinal medical records, incident reports, clinical documentation, and care process data.

• Detect patient safety risks, gaps in documentation, process failures, preventable harm, and quality issues.

• Assess AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, regulatory compliance, and relevance to quality improvement.

• Create gold-standard responses and clinically defensible reference solutions.

• Review adverse events, near misses, escalation failures, handoff problems, and system-level safety issues.

• Evaluate quality improvement recommendations, corrective measures, and procedural changes.

• Utilize structured rubrics to assess clinical reasoning, terminology, documentation quality, and implications for patient safety.

• Engage in peer review, calibration, and resolution of complex quality or safety edge cases.

• Facilitate cross-functional reviews involving nursing, physicians, pharmacy, case management, infection prevention, and hospital operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.

• Approximately 8+ years of professional nursing experience.

• Extensive experience in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical risk, or healthcare quality operations.

• Recent professional practice experience within the last 3 years.

• Strong background in reviewing complex clinical documentation and identifying safety, quality, or process issues.

• In-depth knowledge of incident review, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality improvement methodologies.

• Ability to interpret fragmented clinical information and draw clear, defensible conclusions.

• Excellent written English skills and the ability to communicate quality and safety findings accurately.
