This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.
• Work alongside hospitals to recognize the need for and promote measurable enhancements in patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with local, state, and national organizations to link providers and patients to pertinent initiatives and educational opportunities.
• Examine regional, state, and provider-level quality data, facilitate learning collaboratives, and offer technical assistance to hospitals as they adopt evidence-based practices.
• Utilize expertise in hospitals and healthcare systems, experience in quality improvement methods, and excellent relationship-building abilities to effectively engage with partners and providers across the healthcare spectrum while ensuring alignment with both state and federal healthcare quality objectives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public policy, public health, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience (e.g., 10 years of healthcare experience, an associate’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, etc.).
• Experience in healthcare quality improvement is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality improvement principles and methodologies utilized in hospital environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to cultivate productive relationships with C-suite leaders, clinicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
• Awareness of state and federal regulations affecting hospitals, including CMS quality measures, value-based payment models, and accreditation standards.
• Capability to coach and facilitate improvement activities with providers and partners, delivering technical assistance in designated areas of expertise or specific settings.
• Active Enterprise User Administration (EUA) ID: As a CMS Contractor employee requiring regular access to a CMS federally controlled information system, this role necessitates the establishment of an Identity and Credentialing Tool (ICT) account and the acquisition of a EUA ID. If you do not presently possess an active EUA ID, you must complete the necessary training and secure the EUA ID. Failure to obtain the EUA ID within the specified timeframe may lead to termination of employment.
