Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, execution, and upkeep of the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Manage Quality Assurance system data and quality documentation

• Ensure adherence to customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards

• Assess QMS efficiency and propose enhancements

• Facilitate internal and external audits while ensuring prompt resolution of corrective actions

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality-related matters and inquiries

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 8D investigations

• Propel the execution and validation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Perform fault trend analysis and pinpoint opportunities for improvement

• Apply quality tools and methodologies to enhance process efficiency and quality

• Evaluate operational processes and suggest enhancements

• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Distribution Centre teams

• Offer quality expertise during customer interactions and onboarding processes

• Develop, track, and report on quality metrics and KPIs

• Prepare quality reports and share findings, trends, and recommendations with management

• Ensure accurate and prompt reporting of quality performance data

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or similar role

• Strong proficiency in ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems

• Experience in leading customer-facing quality investigations and corrective action initiatives

• Fluency in both Italian and English, in written and spoken forms

• Comprehensive understanding of quality management principles and methodologies

• Familiarity with 8D Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), 5 Whys, and Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagrams

• Capability to analyze data and identify trends

• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
