This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate finished Display Transcription assignments for precision and uniformity.

• Cross-check the Display Transcription with the original lexical transcript and project specifications.

• Confirm the proper application of punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text normalization protocols.

• Ensure that the original phrasing and meaning remain intact.

• Detect and rectify formatting or guideline-related mistakes.

• Utilize the reference audio when needed to clarify ambiguous situations.

• Consistently adhere to project-specific quality benchmarks.

• Deliver precise feedback and report recurring issues when necessary.

• Fulfill assigned QC responsibilities within project timelines and productivity goals.

• Good comprehension of punctuation, capitalization, and conventions of written language.

• Capability to spot inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.

• Ability to follow comprehensive guidelines and apply them diligently.

• Basic computer proficiency and a dependable internet connection.

• Capacity to work autonomously and achieve quality and productivity objectives.

• Prior experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Training and project instructions will be provided prior to the commencement of the project.
