AI Forward Deployed Engineer – Commercial-focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement AI-driven commercial solutions that enhance demand operations, prospecting, proposal creation, and bid development.

• Enhance and refine assisted proposal and bid drafting capabilities by utilizing governed content and sponsor-specific context.

• Seamlessly integrate AI applications with Salesforce and other commercial systems using data from opportunities, accounts, pipelines, and marketing.

• Design retrieval and knowledge solutions that encompass proposal, contract, and bid content.

• Collaborate with DemandOps teams to optimize intake processes, account segmentation, pipeline transparency, and insights on win rates.

• Aid in prospecting through next-best-action suggestions and AI-enhanced outreach content.

• Work alongside end users to improve products, collect feedback, drive adoption, and assess business impact.

• Assess solution performance, monitor usage metrics, and continuously enhance AI capabilities and user experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, skills, and relevant experience.

• Over 2 years of practical experience with Databricks and modern data and AI platforms.

• More than 2 years of experience in LLM application engineering, including prompt engineering, context engineering, retrieval, structured outputs, and evaluation.

• At least 2 years of experience with Python, capable of delivering user-facing applications through web, Databricks, or Microsoft 365 platforms.

• Proficient in building solutions with Salesforce as the primary commercial system of record, including opportunities, accounts, pipelines, reporting, and associated integrations.

• Strong grasp of commercial operations, including sales funnels, demand operations, prospecting, pipeline management, proposals, and bids.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Copilot, MLflow, Databricks Vector Search, Databricks Genie, Genie Code, or GenieOne is preferred.

• Proficient in English.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
