This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Assess completed Display Transcription tasks for precision and uniformity.

• Compare the Display Transcription against the original lexical transcript and project specifications.

• Confirm the correct application of punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text normalization standards.

• Ensure the preservation of the original words and their meanings.

• Detect and rectify formatting or guideline-related mistakes.

• Utilize the reference audio as needed to clarify ambiguous situations.

• Consistently apply project-specific quality standards.

• Offer precise feedback and highlight recurring issues when necessary.

• Fulfill assigned QC tasks within project deadlines and productivity goals.

• Exceptional writing skills in the target language.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong understanding of punctuation, capitalization, and conventions of written language.

• Capability to identify inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.

• Ability to adhere to detailed guidelines and apply them consistently.

• Basic computer proficiency and a dependable internet connection.

• Capacity to work independently while meeting quality and productivity objectives.

• Previous experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Training and project guidelines will be provided prior to the commencement of the project.
