Quality Control Specialist – AI/ML, English (India)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate completed Display Transcription assignments for precision and uniformity.

• Cross-reference the Display Transcription with the original lexical transcript and project specifications.

• Confirm punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text normalization criteria.

• Ensure that the original words and meanings are accurately retained.

• Detect and rectify formatting or guideline-related mistakes.

• Utilize reference audio when necessary to clarify ambiguous situations.

• Consistently implement project-specific quality benchmarks.

• Deliver precise feedback and report recurring issues as needed.

• Complete designated QC tasks within project timelines and productivity goals.

• Strong grasp of punctuation, capitalization, and conventions of written language.

• Capability to spot inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.

• Capacity to work autonomously and meet quality and productivity objectives.

• Prior experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Training and project guidelines will be provided prior to the start of the project.
