Quality Control Specialist, AI/ML – Chinese (Traditional)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Review finalized Display Transcription assignments for precision and uniformity.

• Contrast the Display Transcription with the original lexical transcript and project criteria.

• Confirm punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text normalization rules.

• Ensure that the original words and their meanings are maintained.

• Detect and rectify formatting or guideline-related discrepancies.

• Utilize reference audio when necessary to clarify ambiguous instances.

• Consistently apply project-specific quality standards.

• Offer precise feedback and highlight recurring issues when needed.

• Fulfill assigned QC tasks within project timelines and productivity goals.

• Exceptional written communication skills in the target language.

• Strong focus on detail and accuracy.

• Solid understanding of punctuation, capitalization, and conventions of written language.

• Ability to detect inconsistencies and errors in formatted text.

• Capability to adhere to detailed guidelines and implement them consistently.

• Basic computer proficiency and a dependable internet connection.

• Ability to work autonomously and achieve quality and productivity objectives.

• Previous experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is advantageous.

• Training and project guidelines will be provided prior to project commencement.
