Quality Control Analyst – Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality control assessments of valuation reports to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and client standards.

• Liaise with valuation providers to discuss necessary revisions or to check the status of orders.

• Address and resolve issues promptly and consistently.

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

• Offer constructive feedback to QC management aimed at enhancing processes and team efficiency.

• Ensure that valuation reports align with both regulatory requirements and client expectations.

• Adhere to state and industry regulations, including the Appraiser Independence Requirements.

• Detect discrepancies or errors in valuation reports and submit detailed requests for revisions.

• Follow the correct escalation procedures.

• Accurately complete all QC valuation process steps within established SLA timeframes.

• Attend departmental meetings.

• Participate in overtime, training sessions, and onsite collaboration events as needed.

• Maintain daily communication with QC Managers regarding departmental operational protocols.

• Foster positive and professional relationships with vendors and internal personnel.

• Undertake other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in real estate appraisal quality control review at the AMC or mortgage company level is required.

• A college degree is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail is necessary.

• Capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while navigating multiple systems simultaneously.

• Ability to swiftly acquire new skills, processes, and procedures.

• USPAP certification is required; if not already certified, successful completion of the 15 or 7-hour USPAP training course after hiring is necessary, along with the ongoing maintenance of the certification during employment.

• Familiarity with valuation processes, procedures, and technologies is essential.

• Outstanding customer service, communication, and writing abilities are required.

• Availability on weekends is mandatory.

• Evening availability is also required.

• The listed shift is Tuesday to Saturday; the posting also indicates a Sunday through Thursday schedule.
