Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute quality benchmarks for IT projects.

• Work in conjunction with development teams to guarantee adherence to requirements.

• Generate testing and auditing reports.

• Engage in the ongoing enhancement of development processes.

• Record quality assurance procedures and best practices.

• Educate teams on quality assurance techniques.

• Ensure traceability between tests and resolutions.

• Aid in defining acceptance criteria for deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.

• Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester; Agile Tester (preferred).

• Expertise in testing methodologies (unit, integration, performance).

• Familiarity with testing tools (Selenium, JMeter, Postman).

• Understanding of quality assurance standards (ISO 9001, CMMI).

• Awareness of security and compliance issues.

• Meticulousness and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

• Quality-focused with a continuous improvement orientation.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in French.
