Quality Assurance Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality and dependability of software products

• Propel the vision of QA automation

• Collaborate within scrum teams and across departments to create solutions for new features

• Troubleshoot software issues of medium to high complexity

• Develop and define testing strategies and plans

• Manage automation test data

• Work together with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and team members to understand requirements and provide updates

• Clearly document functionalities and defects

• Define and enhance QA methodologies and processes

• Suggest areas for improvement through testing and statistical analysis

• Mentor and develop team members

• Guide junior team members on processes, best practices, and new technologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Four (4) to Eight (8) years of experience in a healthcare or related organization

• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance Engineering

• Expert-level proficiency in one or more scripting languages

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in place of a degree

• Comprehensive understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Advanced skills with automation testing tools and scripting languages

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Expert-level knowledge in one or more scripting/programming languages

• Ability to convert application business cases into clear test scenarios and cases

• Proficient in systematic troubleshooting

• Experience with load testing and performance testing

• In-depth understanding of SQL and data validation

• Basic knowledge of SLA/SLI/SLOs

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables

• Solid understanding of HTTP/REST fundamentals

• Solid understanding of JSON/XML/YAML fundamentals

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Proficient with standard business applications such as Word and Excel

• Expert-level scripting ability in JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, Python, or PowerShell (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)

• Extensive experience with end-to-end frameworks such as Playwright, Protractor, Cypress, or Selenium (Playwright preferred)

• Working knowledge of Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, or similar tools

• Proficient in containerization/cloud technologies such as Docker, AWS ECS, AWS Fargate, Kubernetes/AWS EKS, AWS Lambda, and S3

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman/Newman

• Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD frameworks

• Solid understanding of networking concepts
