Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in testing client-facing applications, internal tools, and backend APIs to pinpoint deficiencies and ensure quality standards are achieved.

• Apply and advocate for formal testing methodologies to enhance the overall quality of deliverables.

• Assess product quality and implement enhancements to maximize customer satisfaction.

• Record and monitor defects utilizing specified tracking systems and tools.

• Recognize bottlenecks in the quality assurance process and recommend actions for improvement.

• Work collaboratively with Development, Product Management, and QA teams to formulate testing approaches and strategies for various products and product lines.

• Identify and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to product quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in testing web applications and/or mobile applications.

• Proficiency in developing and executing software test strategies and test cases.

• Experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End System Integration Testing.

• Familiarity with mobile testing tools like Appium and BrowserStack is highly desirable.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum/DevOps development methodologies.

• Strong grasp of JavaScript, PHP, HTML/CSS, and general web technologies.

• Capability to create clear, concise, and thorough bug reports, test plans, and test cases.

• Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Apigee is a plus.

• Experience with building automation scripts and the Playwright framework.

• Understanding of database architecture and concepts is advantageous.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
