Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Continuously enhance and refine the test infrastructure.

• Collaborate directly with the product team.

• Design and sustain quality assurance infrastructure for the back end using JUnit 5, Spring, and Kubernetes.

• Engage in chaos testing and performance testing activities.

• Work alongside developers to establish requirements from a testability standpoint.

• Detect defects, notify the development team, and assist in their resolution during production deployments.

• Oversee and monitor software releases and regression testing throughout the development process.

• Create and implement specifications for test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios in collaboration with the team.

• Supervise test suites and coordinate efforts to update tests and rectify regressions.

• Provide support to the team with CI/CD processes utilizing GitLab, Maven, and Docker.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java.

• Professional background in the Quality Assurance sector.

• In-depth understanding of both automated and manual testing using JUnit 5.

• Experience with API testing frameworks.

• Proficient in written and spoken technical English.

• Standard background checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
