Quality Analyst – Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement detailed test plans and test scenarios.

• Evaluate test outcomes and communicate defects to appropriate stakeholders.

• Identify, monitor, and document software-related issues.

• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and project managers.

• Ensure that software aligns with both business and technical requirements.

• Suggest enhancements to testing procedures.

• Keep precise records of work hours in the time entry system.

• Continuously enhance role-specific skills and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

• Demonstrate inclusive behaviors and actively manage bias.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in the software development field, particularly in software testing.

• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle.

• Extensive knowledge in test planning and execution.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing test plans.

• Proven history of identifying and documenting defects.

• Experience working with development teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance software quality.

• Experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, and emails.

• Familiarity with cross-browser applications such as Sauce Labs is advantageous.
