This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and keep the system test strategy updated.
• Create, maintain, and revise test scripts and artifacts.
• Oversee the evolution of requirements from their initial phase.
• Manage test data, scripts, artifacts, simulators, routines, and business processes for the systems.
• Plan and execute testing activities, which include strategies, plans, test cases, and scripts.
• Create and perform both automated and manual scripts, documenting and analyzing outcomes.
• Conduct acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, and non-functional tests.
• Develop mocks, stubs, and simulators to facilitate testing.
• Assess non-functional performance requirements employing tools and monitors.
• Track test coverage and strive to enhance it.
• Record defects and evaluate results from test cycles.
• Assist managers and teams in the validation and approval of requirements.
• Design tests based on business scenarios, user experiences, and identified defects.
• Comprehend systems, business requirements, development processes, and testing throughout the development cycle.
• Implement ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example methodologies.
• Sustain system cycles in client staging and laboratory environments.
• Strategize and conduct tests based on available scope and timelines.
• Evaluate security elements as specified by OWASP.
• Utilize automation, performance, planning, test management, and test execution tools.
• Develop, monitor, and advance Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), incorporating user experiments and result tracking.
• Define, manage, and report performance indicators for innovations and new product developments.
• Coordinate efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with partners to define, prioritize, and provide strategic guidance on solutions and timelines.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and suggest improvements to the system.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology; or any bachelor's degree with a postgraduate certificate in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.
• Possess at least one of the following certifications or equivalent: ATC/IBQTS, CBTS/ALATS, CTFL, CTFL-AT/BSTQB, or ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level – Agile Tester.
• Preferred 3 years of experience in planning, executing, and automating functional and non-functional tests, as well as environment management, test data management, and system security.
• Familiarity with software test execution and automation.
• Knowledge of testing tools, bug tracking, test data generation, and automation tools, including Datapool.
• Understanding of requirements validation in both agile and traditional methodologies.
• Knowledge of OWASP criteria for security testing.
• Understanding of test modeling based on business scenarios and identified defects.
• Familiarity with test notations and technical test documentation.
