QA/QC Lead Inspector – Modular Buildings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic leadership and operational management for the facility's quality inspection program.

• Oversee inspection scheduling and supervise daily operations, shift assignments, and trade bay allocations for the quality inspection team.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to co-lead customer-witnessed Factory Acceptance Tests.

• Serve as the official signatory for final product acceptance and shipping authorization.

• Conduct audits of workshop and yard processes to ensure compliance with NEC, AWS welding standards, and state modular building certification requirements.

• Act as the intermediary between the corporate QA/QC Manager and the local General Manager.

• Stop production or prevent product shipments when quality standards, national regulations, or state certification benchmarks are not achieved.

• Ensure complete compliance, regulatory alignment, and readiness for external audits.

• Co-lead intricate FAT windows in collaboration with industrial clients and engage with regulatory officials.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Demonstrated technical proficiency in modular PDC construction.

• Capability to lead multi-trade teams, mediate compliance disputes, and interact with industrial clients.

• Experience in Quality Management or equivalent substantial quality expertise.

• Over 8 years of experience in heavy multi-trade fabrication.

• At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

• Profound practical knowledge of industrial structural drawings, construction tolerances, and general electrical systems layout.

• Preference for familiarity with multi-state modular building certification frameworks, NEC codes, or basic root-cause failure analysis (RCFA).

• Ability to safely navigate both indoor and outdoor production environments in various weather conditions.

• Comfort interacting with high-level clients and regulatory officials in high-pressure testing situations.

• Direct experience in a facility may be accepted in lieu of formal degree or tenure requirements.
