QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create, document, and manage comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on business requirements.

• Conduct end-to-end and regression testing for MUNIvers releases in an Agile delivery setting.

• Identify, log, prioritize, and monitor defects through to resolution utilizing DevOps.

• Assess data accuracy through basic SQL queries as necessary.

• Support test automation efforts using AcceLQ or similar tools.

• Familiarize oneself with the company’s Implementation Methodology.

• Evaluate defects, risks, and release readiness by considering customer, business, and delivery impacts.

• Deliver clear and timely updates on testing progress, coverage, and unresolved defects.

• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the MUNIvers product, particularly in billing/finance modules and account/contact relationships.

• Gain insights into batch processing and other domain-specific complexities within MUNIvers.

• Engage in training activities and actively seek opportunities to enhance Salesforce and MUNIvers product knowledge.

• Recognize and escalate quality risks and issues to the Product Owner or QA Lead.

• Uphold defect tracking and reporting standards, keeping stakeholders informed of status and implications.

• Assist in analyzing and documenting test coverage, business processes, and product functionalities.

• Contribute to test planning and estimations for future releases and sprints.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Salesforce QA testing.

• 2–3 years of overall experience in a testing capacity.

• Proficient in end-to-end and regression testing within an Agile environment.

• Strong skills in defect tracking and reporting, preferably using DevOps.

• Capability to develop clear, detailed test cases and scenarios from business requirements.

• Basic knowledge of SQL queries.

• Experience or capability to assist in test automation using AcceLQ or equivalent tools.

• Availability to work during Sydney, Australia business hours.

• Working knowledge of Salesforce, MUNIvers, billing/finance modules, account/contact relationships, and batch processing to be acquired or maintained.
