QA & Software Testing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute manual testing procedures for web-based applications and platforms

• Validate UI functionality, workflows, and business logic across various scenarios

• Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing

• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira

• Assist in verifying bug fixes and carrying out re-testing activities

• Review test scenarios and help develop comprehensive test cases and test data

• Document test execution outcomes, evidence, and findings

• Identify gaps or missing scenarios to enhance test coverage

• Maintain QA documentation, including test cases, execution logs, and defect reports

• Collaborate with QA team members and developers

• Participate in stand-up meetings, test reviews, and planning sessions

• Translate business requirements into actionable test scenarios

• Provide insights on usability and user experience

• Validate environments following copies/refreshes

• Validate environments prior to testing and before production deployment

• Work independently during Philippines work hours while supporting the US-based quality assurance team

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B, C2M, and/or CCS

• Minimum of 1 year in testing/QA roles

• Ability to work independently

• High proficiency in English (both written and verbal)

• Preferred: Experience in environment validation

• Preferred: Basic SQL knowledge

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in the utility sector

• Preferred: Experience working remotely across multiple time zones, particularly with US/Canadian teams

• Must be available to work during Philippines work hours
