QA Manual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, document, and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases based on business requirements.

• Identify, report, and track defects in JIRA until resolution, prioritizing them according to their impact.

• Execute web service and API tests using SoapUI, Postman, and Swagger, validating contracts and responses.

• Validate the integrity, consistency, and quality of information in databases through queries and verification scripts.

• Analyze application and server logs to identify root causes of incidents and assist in their resolution.

• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.

• Report on testing status, quality metrics, and risks to project stakeholders.

• Propose continuous improvements to the team's testing processes, strategies, and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Strong background in software quality assurance processes.

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or higher (preferred).

• Proficiency in JIRA for backlog management, test cases, and defect tracking.

• Familiarity with database tools for information querying and validation.

• Experience or knowledge in API and web service testing using Postman and Swagger.

• Ability to search, filter, and analyze application and server logs.
