QA Lead, Data Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the quality assurance initiatives for a new enterprise data platform that integrates and consolidates data from various source systems into a centralized AWS environment.

• Formulate and manage the comprehensive QA strategy, along with associated test plans, cases, and scenarios.

• Lead the integration testing efforts across SAP, CRM, and the consolidated platform.

• Design and supervise data validation, reconciliation, and data quality assessments.

• Examine discrepancies in collaboration with development partners to replicate, isolate, and resolve data-related issues.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to the QA Tester while coordinating daily testing operations.

• Generate detailed reports and metrics.

• Set up quality gates within QA and Production environments to inform go/no-go release decisions.

• Communicate testing progress, coverage, risks, and outcomes to project stakeholders.

• Manage defect analysis, triage, and resolution in partnership with development teams.

• Deliver a dependable, high-quality data platform that meets organizational standards and business expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relevant field is mandatory.

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including roles in leading or coordinating testing activities.

• Demonstrated experience with integration testing across SAP, CRM, S/4 HANA, and Microsoft Dynamics is essential.

• Practical experience in data validation, reconciliation, and testing for data integration, ETL, or data migration.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS) is a plus.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred.

• Extensive experience with JIRA, Confluence, test management, and data validation tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Availability during core hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time.
