
QA Engineer – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of unit, integration, and comprehensive test automation within CI/CD.
• Manage the Xray + Version Matrix test management framework and its reporting.
• Supervise staging and release readiness tracking along with test sign-off.
• Oversee the test lab, equipment staging, and ensure environment availability for testing.
• Handle test data and non-production test environments that do not contain real customer PII.
• Establish and uphold quality gates in collaboration with engineering and the Software PM.
• Provide reports on quality and coverage metrics as part of the delivery rhythm.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, DevOps, and the Software PM.
• Prevent defects from reaching production while preserving release velocity.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years in QA/test engineering is essential.
• Prior experience as a QA lead at a senior level is necessary.
• Proficient test automation skills with CI/CD-integrated frameworks are required.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray or similar is essential.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining test environments is important.
• Knowledge of test data management is required.
• Ability to enforce quality gates while avoiding becoming a bottleneck in the release process.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, DevOps, and the Software PM is crucial.
