QA Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement test plans and test cases for Amazon Connect contact flows, IVR call flows, routing profiles, and queues.

• Assess AWS Lambda functions that are integrated into Connect contact flows, including data lookups, dynamic routing logic, and third-party API interactions.

• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing during call center platform releases and configuration adjustments.

• Detect, document, and manage defects until resolution, collaborating closely with the development team.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating efforts with business and contact center stakeholders.

• Observe and verify call handling, routing accuracy, and system performance after deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant QA/testing experience.

• QA/testing experience with AWS Connect or other call center platforms.

• Knowledge of AWS Lambda.

• Ability to work Central time hours, even while working remotely.

• AWS certification(s) are preferred.

• Experience in the call center domain is preferred.

• Background in healthcare payer is preferred.
