QA Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain effective automated testing frameworks.

• Evaluate enterprise web applications, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance test coverage.

• Integrate automation within CI/CD pipelines.

• Expedite reliable software delivery.

• Implement testing strategies such as risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience is required for this role.

• At least four years of experience in QA automation.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Practical experience in automating REST APIs.

• Strong grasp of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

• Experience in integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid SQL skills for data validation purposes.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum work environments.

• Strong skills in debugging, problem-solving, and analysis.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Preferred: experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6.

• Preferred: knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Preferred: experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

• Preferred: exposure to Cucumber or SpecFlow.

• Preferred: familiarity with OWASP and basic penetration testing.
