QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop a Thorough QA Strategy:

• Formulate, document, and uphold a transparent QA strategy that aligns with our operational objectives and product roadmap.

• Foster a shift-left testing culture, ensuring that quality considerations are integrated from the initial stages of design and development.

• Collaborate with developers and product owners to guarantee that the strategy is well comprehended and consistently implemented across all teams and codebases.

• Collaboration and Ongoing Improvement:

• Work collaboratively with developers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to offer feedback on testability, code quality, and possible edge cases.

• Assist the team in maintaining existing features while ensuring high quality in the creation of new features.

• Oversee bugs, incidents, and root cause analysis efforts while consistently enhancing quality practices and testing standards.

• Testing and Automation:

• Design, implement, and sustain automated end-to-end and integration tests for our Laravel and React applications.

• Create and manage API test suites to verify backend functionality, performance, and reliability.

• Utilize Cypress and Playwright to automate high-value test scenarios that mirror real-world user behavior.

• Continuously enhance and scale our test automation infrastructure to expedite development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.

• Proficiency in Automation Testing is essential.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.

• Experience with Postman API testing suite, along with Cypress and Playwright.

• Familiarity with Javascript and PHP is required.

• Knowledge of Github Actions and CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with AWS services is an advantage.
