This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Conduct testing on mobile games at various stages of development and post-release.
• Evaluate gameplay, functionality, UI/UX, performance, and optimization.
• Verify monetization, localization, and the accuracy of analytics functionality.
• Test the product across different devices and versions of iOS and Android.
• Ensure the implemented features meet the specified requirements.
• Create and update checklists, test cases, instructions, and other QA documentation.
• Document identified defects and testing outcomes.
• Perform final testing on release builds.
• Assess the readiness of the product and promotional materials for release.
• Prepare release notes for the team.
• Conduct post-release evaluations of Live versions in marketplaces.
• Collaborate with developers, game designers, and other team members.
• Communicate statuses, risks, and blockers that may affect quality or release timelines.
• Participate in team discussions and initiatives aimed at improving the product and QA processes.
• Analyze the product from the perspective of defects and user experience.
• Suggest enhancements to functionality, performance, and UX.
• Plan and prioritize tasks while adhering to deadlines.
• In-depth understanding of testing principles, processes, and methodologies.
• Practical experience in testing mobile products on iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience in functional, UI/UX, regression, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar bug tracking/test management systems.
• Ability to create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other testing documentation.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience using tools for testing and performance analysis.
• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
• Basic understanding of game design principles and mechanics.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of effectively organizing work.
• Ability to clearly communicate issues, risks, and testing results.
• Experience with Unity will be an advantage.
• Experience in testing mobile games will be an asset.
• Understanding of the mobile games development and release process will be a plus.
