QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Quality Assurance and testing framework from inception.

• Set up scalable testing procedures that support product development and deployments.

• Establish standards and procedures for bug identification, reporting, tracking, and resolution.

• Perform thorough manual testing on internal systems and consumer-facing digital assets.

• Evaluate direct-to-consumer landing pages and conversion funnels.

• Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.

• Detect bugs, inconsistencies, usability challenges, and other quality issues prior to production releases.

• Facilitate the future expansion of QA processes to include automated testing.

• Utilize Jira and Asana to manage testing lifecycles and monitor issues until resolution.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, QA documentation, release testing outcomes, and release approvals.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and designers during development and release cycles.

• Convey technical issues and actionable reproduction details to distributed teams.

• Uphold quality standards before code is deployed to production.

• Create and refine scalable QA processes for the telehealth organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of specialized experience in Quality Assurance.

• Proficient in testing web applications, internal tools, and high-conversion landing pages.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and establishing QA systems, processes, and workflows from the ground up.

• Experience in managing testing and bug-tracking workflows using Jira and Asana.

• Background in testing direct-to-consumer web experiences and conversion funnels.

• Proven experience in conducting manual software testing.

• Familiarity with automated testing is viewed as beneficial as the QA function develops.

• Strong capabilities in software quality assurance.

• Practical experience in creating QA frameworks, test plans, test cases, bug-reporting standards, and release approval processes.

• High proficiency in using Jira and Asana.

• Knowledge of direct-to-consumer web experiences, landing pages, and conversion funnels.

• Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing.

• Ability to articulate technical issues clearly and provide actionable reproduction information.

• Skill in maintaining detailed QA documentation and managing multiple testing priorities.

• Capability to work independently with distributed product, development, and design teams.

• Availability to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
