QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and keep test configurations up-to-date.

• Identify, reproduce, verify, and resolve defects found during testing.

• Create comprehensive test reports that summarize execution results, including detected defects, test coverage metrics, and key insights.

• Analyze data on event logging servers utilizing the ELK stack.

• Gain a holistic understanding of the system and implement enhancements to improve stability, clarity, and predictability.

• Build a robust automation framework from scratch using Python, Go, or JavaScript.

• Contribute to Group-IB's cybersecurity technologies aimed at investigating, predicting, preventing, and combating digital crime.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in QA automation, with a focus on developing automation frameworks.

• Strong foundation in backend testing, encompassing REST API, MQ, mock testing, and server integrations.

• Familiarity with relational, NoSQL, and columnar databases.

• Experience in testing high-load systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Solid grasp of automation principles and automation-driven testing.

• Practical experience with Pytest or other testing frameworks.

• Proficient in Python.

• Knowledge of Go (Golang) is a significant advantage.

• Capability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• A sense of curiosity, a technical mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
