QA Automation Engineer – Python, Selenium

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and End-to-End (E2E) tests.

• Automate web testing using Python, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD.

• Utilize XPath, CSS Selectors, and dynamic identifiers.

• Integrate Git and consume/validate REST APIs.

• Generate evidence and execution reports.

• Develop automated tests with PyTalos.

• Manage test cases, defects, evidence, and execution cycles in Micro Focus ALM / Quality Center.

• Participate in test automation projects across financial, commercial, manufacturing, telecommunications, service, and government sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a related field.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in test automation.

• Proven experience with intermediate-advanced Python, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD (Behave or similar).

• Experience in designing and executing functional, regression, integration, and End-to-End (E2E) tests.

• Proficient in XPath, CSS Selectors, and dynamic identifiers.

• Experience with Git.

• Experience in consuming/validating REST APIs.

• Experience in generating evidence and execution reports.

• Basic SQL knowledge.

• Preferred experience in banking or financial projects.

• Preferred experience in IBM 390/Mainframe environments: z/OS, COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.

• Preferred experience in developing automated tests with PyTalos.

• Preferred familiarity with Micro Focus ALM / Quality Center.

• Preferred experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.

• Preferred use of monitoring/log analysis tools.
