QA Automation Engineer – Mid-Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design multi-platform test automation frameworks and create automated tests to perform complex functional integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure acceptance criteria are fulfilled.

• Assist in identifying testing strategies and lead their execution.

• Engage in the development of test plans and test cases.

• Report software defects and collaborate with the development team for resolution.

• Conduct hands-on exploratory and manual testing to identify edge cases and usability concerns that automated tests may overlook.

• Validate intricate user flows end-to-end across mobile and other platforms prior to significant releases.

• Proactively explore and incorporate AI-powered tools into QA processes to expedite test creation, enhance coverage, and minimize cycle times.

• Advocate for the integration of AI-assisted testing methodologies throughout the engineering organization.

• Experiment with LLMs and AI assistants for generating test data, crafting test cases from requirements, and managing flaky tests.

• Providing training and mentorship to junior team members in test automation would be highly valued.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in writing automated tests for web or mobile applications.

• Proficient in writing automated tests for REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Git and Docker.

• Understanding of Agile/DevOps best practices.

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with one or more of the following automation frameworks: Jasmine, Jest, Mocha + Chai, Cypress, Playwright.

• A passion for breaking things.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
