Building Automation Engineer, m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Preparation of HOAI service phases 1 to 7 pertaining to building automation

• Management of international projects

• Providing clients with comprehensive advice on all facets of building automation

• Identifying and documenting client requirements

• Developing concepts for building automation

• Preparing initial cost estimates

• Reviewing and assessing existing planning documents for service phases 1 to 8

• Creating proposals for optimization

• Collaborating closely with colleagues from various disciplines, especially Digital Building Consultants

• Assisting in the commissioning and acceptance of building automation installations

• Conducting surveys and assessments of both existing systems and new construction projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in building automation, electrical engineering, computer science, building services engineering, or a related field

• Several years of professional experience in planning and implementing building automation systems

• Proficiency in using TRIC, Autodesk Revit, and ORCA AVA, or similar software

• Extensive experience with building automation communication protocols, such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX, M-Bus, DALI, SMI, and proprietary bus systems

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English

• Additional knowledge and experience with emerging digital building technologies and information and communication technology (ICT) would be beneficial
