This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and uphold automated testing suites for web and API layers utilizing TypeScript and Playwright.
• Work in collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to establish test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality checkpoints.
• Analyze and resolve test failures, identifying flaky tests from true regressions.
• Produce clear bug reports, test plans, and documentation aimed at non-technical stakeholders.
• Engage in code reviews for test automation scripts.
• Promote testability in application architecture.
• Enhance test coverage, execution speed, and the stability of the automation suite.
• Assume responsibility for web and API test automation.
• Develop scalable CI/CD testing pipelines and positively impact the engineering culture.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in test automation.
• Strong command of TypeScript, or JavaScript with a willingness to transition to TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium, with a willingness to adopt Playwright.
• Comprehensive knowledge of test design, API testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and managing test data.
• Experience in integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Capability to analyze pipeline logs to troubleshoot failures.
